1978 Pontiac Firebird with Ice Cold Air Conditioning, T-roofs (removable top) and with only 31k actual
original miles!
This 1978 Firebird was purchased brand new on May 23, 1978 from Registers Pontiac in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania by the current owner
and with only the normal maintenance this 1978 Pontiac Firebird has had very minimal modifications to her original factory specifications,
that being: a Blaupunkt AM-FM Radio with rear speakers (the original radio goes with the car) the original exhaust system was replaced with
Flow-master muffler, custom pipes and the original tires were replaced with Goodyear Eagles.

1978 Pontiac Trivia
Beginning in 1978, Pontiac engineers reversed years of declining power by raising the compression ratio in the Pontiac 400 through the
installation of different cylinder heads with smaller combustion chambers (1977 Pontiac 400 engines also had the 350 heads bolted to the 400
blocks, these heads were known as the 6x-4 heads)(taken from the Pontiac 350). This increased power by 10% for a total of 220 during the
1978-79 model years.
